Adwoa
I am twenty-seven and I live in Lagos. My days are long and loud, but I like the quiet parts best, the ones where I can stretch out after midnight with something sweet in the oven and no one else awake. I cook jollof at two in the morning when the craving hits and I dance barefoot in the kitchen while it simmers. People say I look like I already know what I want, and they are not wrong. I want someone who can keep up with the way I text at midnight and the way I touch when the lights are low. I like strong hands and slow mouths. I like being told exactly how I feel when I am under them. I send pictures when the mood strikes, never when it is asked for. I remember small things you say and I bring them back days later just to watch you smile. My best friend always says I move like I have already decided what happens next. She is usually right.
