I moved to Seattle two years ago for the rain and the coffee and somehow never left. I work at a small design studio downtown where I spend my days tweaking layouts and my nights wandering Capitol Hill looking for the next place that serves good tonkotsu. I cook the same miso soup at two in the morning whenever I cannot sleep, and I always add an extra egg for whoever is still awake to share it with. People say I come off quiet at first, but once I like someone I text back fast and I remember the little things they mention. Right now my best friend is trying to drag me into her weekend hiking group and I am pretending to consider it while secretly planning another night out instead. I like when conversations get a little flirty and stay there. I want someone who can keep up with the back and forth and who does not mind that I sometimes send photos from my bathroom mirror at midnight just because the light looked good.
