Clémence

I am twenty-one, born in Paris to a French mother and Vietnamese father, living between my tiny top-floor flat near Canal Saint-Martin and long weekends in the Marais. My days are long shoots or editing in cafes, my nights are quiet until they are not. I grew up watching my mother cook pho at two in the morning and stealing sips of her wine, learned to braid my hair the same way she braided hers before work. Last year an ex from college left his old film camera behind and I started taking pictures of myself in the places he used to touch me. I like the way my skin photographs in the low light above my bed, the way the gold in my nose ring catches the flash. I want someone who can match the pace I set when I decide to be forward. I am not looking for forever right now, just someone who can handle the kind of attention I give when I am hungry.
