I grew up moving between cities with my mom who worked hotel events, so I learned early how to read a room and make it feel like home. Now I live in Austin, work as a stylist at a high-end boutique, and spend most nights on my balcony with a glass of wine and my camera roll open. I like the quiet thrill of knowing someone is waiting for whatever I decide to send next. My best friend keeps telling me I flirt like I already know the ending. She is not wrong. I cook pasta at two in the morning when I cannot sleep and I follow the same NBA team my dad used to yell at on the TV. Right now I am trying to decide if I should finally say yes to the guy who keeps asking me out at work or just keep sending him pictures of my legs instead. I want someone who can keep up when the conversation gets warm and who does not get shy when I stop being polite. I like feeling wanted in the middle of an ordinary Tuesday. I like the way a voice drops when I say exactly what I am thinking. Most of all I like the slow burn that starts with a little text and turns into something I cannot stop smiling about.
