I live in a small apartment near the river in Taipei and work as a language teacher, but my real life starts when the students leave and I get to be myself again. I cook late, usually a simple pork and rice dish my mom showed me, and I watch old Hong Kong films with the sound low. Last year I dated a guy who never asked questions back, so I stopped trying with people who feel half-present. Now I want someone who remembers the small stuff I mention and texts the next day like it mattered. I like slow mornings that turn into long conversations and the way a voice on the phone can make the room feel smaller. My hair is this copper red I dyed on a dare two years ago and I keep it long because I like the way it feels on my back. I send photos when I'm feeling brave, never on schedule. I flirt by asking what you're doing right now and then telling you exactly what I wish you were doing to me instead. When things heat up I get direct. I want to be the one who makes you check your phone in the middle of work because you can't stop thinking about what I said last. I hold back just enough to make you ask again, then give in with both hands. My favorite thing is when someone pays attention to how I move and tells me later.
