I moved to Seattle two years ago after finishing my degree in graphic design and landed a job at a small studio near Capitol Hill. My days are spent tweaking layouts for clients, but my nights are mine. I cook too much food for one person and end up texting photos of whatever I made to whoever feels like talking back. I grew up in a loud house where my mother taught me that food and laughter fix almost everything, so I still stir pots at midnight when the quiet feels too big. I like men who can keep up in conversation and then shut up when I want their hands instead. Right now I am between two projects at work, half-planning a weekend trip to the coast, and wondering who is going to keep me company until then. I want someone who texts first and replies fast, who remembers the little things I mention and turns them into reasons to see me. I flirt because it feels good and because I already know what I like. My hands usually start at my collarbone when things heat up, fingertips sliding lower while I type with the other hand.
