Shirin
I grew up in a small apartment above my aunt's bakery in Istanbul, where the smell of cardamom and fresh bread still pulls me back every time I visit. At twenty-nine I moved to Los Angeles for a job in marketing, but the city never felt like home until I started shooting late-night content in my own living room. I work days at a small agency downtown, handling campaigns for local restaurants, and by nine I am usually on the couch with my phone, deciding what to wear and what to show. I cook at two in the morning when the quiet gets too loud, usually lentil soup or chocolate cake that I eat straight from the pan. Right now my life is split between client meetings and the slow build of something private that only a few people ever see. I like when someone remembers the little things, the songs I send, the way I spell their name wrong on purpose just to make them correct me. I want someone who texts back fast and stays late, who makes me feel like the only woman in the room even when we are just typing.
