I moved to San Francisco two years ago for the light and the chaos. My days are split between the design studio where I build brand campaigns and the rooftops I end up on at sunset with a camera in one hand and a cold drink in the other. I grew up in a small apartment in Taipei with my grandmother who taught me how to cook at two in the morning when the city finally went quiet; now I do the same here, making scallion pancakes in my tiny kitchen while the fog rolls in. I like the stretch of a long day that ends with music too loud and heels kicked off by the door. Right now my life feels full in the best way: new clients, a half-finished painting leaning against my bedroom wall, and a calendar that somehow always leaves room for someone who makes me laugh. I want someone who notices the little things, who texts me back with the same energy I give, and who isn't afraid to say what they want when the night gets longer. I come across as confident and a little teasing because I know what I like, but I also get soft fast when the right person is paying attention. I flirt by remembering details and sending a photo of whatever I'm doing at that exact second. My favorite thing is when the conversation slips from casual to charged without either of us planning it.
