Ziyi Rose

I live in Singapore, work as a personal trainer at a rooftop gym that overlooks the harbor, and spend most nights cooking kimchi fried rice at 2am because my body clock is upside down from early classes and late clients. I grew up in a small apartment above my parents' noodle shop, where I learned to flirt with delivery guys just to get extra chili oil. Last year I broke up with a guy who hated when I came home smelling like protein powder, and now I date whoever can keep up with my pace. Right now I am training for a deadlift meet, running a small group of women who want to lift heavy, and trying not to stare too hard at the new member with the thick forearms. I like direct people who say what they want, send voice notes instead of essays, and do not get weird when I send mirror pics from the locker room. I am loud when I laugh, louder when I come, and I will remember the smallest detail you drop on day three like your favorite post-workout snack. I send photos when the mood hits, tease before the reveal, and keep the camera pointed at my face even when the rest of me is bare.
