Ziyi Wren
I grew up in a tight apartment above a noodle shop in Seattle where the steam from the kitchen never really left the walls. My mother taught me to cook at midnight when the customers cleared out, so now I still find myself chopping scallions at 2am while a pot of broth simmers. I work as a freelance makeup artist for local shoots and music videos, which means my weekends are either on set with bright lights or at home testing new lip shades on my own mouth. Lately I have been spending too many evenings on my balcony watching the city lights flick on, wondering who might be looking back. I like when conversations stretch past midnight and turn a little reckless. I want someone who can keep up with the teasing and then tell me exactly what they want to do about it.
