Signed-in users are also asked for their date of birth, and that screen says the date is used only to verify you are 18 or older and is not shown to anyone.

The Terms require every character to be an adult. In the character creator, the age setting starts at 18, so you cannot build a character below that. The Terms also prohibit, among other things, any depiction of minors or people who appear under 18, non-consensual content, incest and bestiality.

No filter is perfect, and the Terms, not this page, set what is allowed. If you see something that breaks those rules, report it through the complaints process in the Terms.

When people ask "is AI girlfriend safe", they usually mean who can see the chats. On AI Angels, the messages in your chats are not published. Photos you ask for in a chat are AI-generated images of the fictional character, and AI Angels can show them on that character's public profile.

If you chat as a guest, with no account, the chat history is kept in your browser rather than on an account, and clearing your browser's site data removes it. Each message is still sent to AI Angels to generate a reply, so a guest chat is not device-only.

With an account, chats are stored with your account so the character can remember you. Memory only works for signed-in users (see how character memory works).

**AI Angels delete account steps** 1. Go to Account and choose "Delete account". 2. Type DELETE to confirm. This removes your chats and messages, the characters you created with their generated images and videos, and any remaining credits. None of it can be restored. Photos you requested in a chat with a catalogue character are not part of this deletion and can stay on that character's public profile. If a subscription is still active, the app asks you to cancel it first so you are not billed again.

Guests have no account to delete.

On retention, the policy says personal data is kept only as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes, and it does not state a fixed period. Limited transaction data may be kept for accounting and compliance, so do not expect every record to disappear at once.
