What Flirtbate is
This Flirtbate review gives the short answer first: browsing models and rates is free, but every session is a paid private one-on-one call billed per minute in credits. Quick verdict: purchased credits never expire, your camera stays off unless you choose cam to cam, and refunds are limited to listed cases requested within seven days.
Flirtbate is a newer adult cam platform that puts private one-on-one video sessions first. Instead of a wall of live public rooms, it shows profile-style photos, ratings, languages and a per-minute rate for each model, with filters by country, age, gender and price.

Flirtbate credits, refunds and how it compares
Everything on Flirtbate is paid with credits, and purchased credits do not expire. The refund policy is narrow but clearly written: refunds are considered for credits that do not arrive within 24 hours, duplicate charges, a platform-side failure that stopped you using unspent credits, a transaction error confirmed by the payment gateway, or a verified unauthorised charge. Calls that connected, even partly, count as used, and disappointment with a call is not grounds for a refund. Requests must be made within seven days and are paid back only to the original payment method. The policy names Epoch, UnicornPay and ForumPay as payment providers.
The About page says sessions are private with no group rooms or voyeurs, in HD with two-way camera support, and moderated around the clock. Compared with Flirt4Free and ImLive, which offer free public rooms or previews, Flirtbate skips the free layer and goes straight to paid one-on-one calls.
Flirtbate alternatives
If you want free public rooms before paying, our Flirt4Free review and Amateur TV review cover two sites with plenty to watch for free. For text and phone chat instead of video, the Arousr review explains how its credit system works.
Our take on Flirtbate
Flirtbate is closer to a video call than a cam show, which makes it more personal and less of a lottery than tipping in a crowded room. The catch is that almost everything costs money from the first minute. If what you want is conversation, an AI companion on AI Angels is available any time on a flat subscription.
Is Flirtbate safe?
Flirtbate says it is operated by a company registered in Amsterdam, that every model submits government ID, and that private sessions are encrypted and not recorded. Billing is described as discreet. As with any per-minute site, set a budget and check each model's rate before you go private.
Who Flirtbate suits

want a focused one-on-one conversation rather than a crowded room, and are fine paying from the first minute.
Look elsewhere if you…
want to watch free public shows for long periods.
