Is Candy AI Good? What Its Own Pricing and Help Pages Say

Candy AI is a subscription AI companion website where adults chat with AI characters and can generate images, videos and voice content. Candy's site, checked on 25 September 2026, lists Girls, Guys and Anime character categories, so unlike AI Angels it is not limited to female characters.

Candy's terms of service name the operator as EverAI Limited, registered in Malta under company number C107181. Candy's help centre says card statements show the charge as "EverAI". So is Candy AI legit? It is run by an identifiable, registered company and publishes its terms, a refund rule and cancellation steps.

Candy's terms also say the service is for entertainment purposes only and is not intended as emotional or other forms of support.

This Candy AI review is based on Candy's pricing page, help centre and terms of service as checked on 25 September 2026; it is not a hands-on test, so it does not judge chat, image or memory quality.

Candy's help centre, checked on 25 September 2026, says free users can send up to 5 messages in chat across all characters, create one custom AI character and generate one image. Candy does not state a time period for those 5 messages.

Live Action, Candy's interactive video feature, is not available to guests or free users.

The plain conclusion: signing up is free, but the free allowance Candy documents is small: 5 messages, one custom character and one image, with no reset period stated.

Candy's subscriptions page lists the Premium benefits as: create your own AI girlfriend(s), generate 18+ videos, generate 18+ images, Full Live Action Experience, text messages, and 100 tokens per month.

Candy's help centre says tokens are used for image generation, creating a custom AI, listening to a voice message, voice calls (beta), unlocking My Private Content packs and video generation. When the monthly tokens run out, Candy prompts you to buy more for images, videos, voice features and content packs. Chat itself stays available without tokens. Yearly subscribers still receive 100 tokens each month.

Candy's help centre says Premium Plus is a higher tier: 330 tokens a month, 20 memory slots, user personas, 5 clone chats, a 10% bonus on token top-ups for quarterly and yearly plans, and 3-day early access to new characters. Candy's subscriptions page showed no Premium Plus price when checked.

Candy does not publish how many tokens one image, voice note, voice call or video costs on the pages checked.

The figures below are what Candy's subscriptions page showed a visitor from the UK on 25 September 2026. Prices shown elsewhere may differ, and Candy notes that additional local taxes may apply.

1 month: £13.99 a month. 3 months: £8.99 a month, billed £26.97. 12 months: £3.99 a month, billed £47.88. The payment step also offers billing every 2 weeks at £9.79 and weekly at £5.60.

Plans renew automatically for the same price and term. You can cancel any time in My Profile, then Settings, then Unsubscribe, and the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Subscriptions cannot be paused.

Refunds: Candy's help centre says refunds can generally be requested within 24 hours of payment, only if you have used 20 tokens or fewer, and only for card payments. EU and UK residents are referred to section 10.4.3 of Candy's terms.

Payment methods Candy lists are credit and debit cards, crypto, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer, varying by location. The billing descriptor is "EverAI".

Is Candy AI good for you? It depends on what you would use it for. If you mostly want text chat, Premium's text messages are the core of what you pay for, and that is a real advantage.

If you want a lot of images, videos, voice notes or calls, the 100 monthly tokens are the limit that matters. Top-ups cost extra, so look up the per-item token costs on Candy's site before subscribing.

The refund rule, 24 hours and 20 tokens or fewer used, means you should decide quickly after paying. The 5 free messages are the no-cost preview Candy documents.

On memory, Candy's help centre (checked 25 September 2026) says there is no option to clear chat history while fully keeping long-term memory. Reset Chat starts the interaction fresh, and detailed conversation memory is generally tied to the active chat. Candy's Premium Plus tier comes with 20 memory slots.

Candy suits adults who want text chat for a flat subscription; people who want its Guys or Anime categories, which AI Angels does not offer; and people interested in video features. Candy lists 18+ video generation, a Build Your Video preset builder and image-to-video, plus Live Action, which is Premium-only, token-gated, on selected characters and currently mobile only.

It may not suit people who want a long free trial before paying, since the free account is 5 messages. It may not suit heavy users of images, voice and calls who would exceed 100 tokens a month. And it may not suit anyone who wants a separate downloadable app, since Candy runs in the browser.

So is Candy AI worth it for you? It is most likely to be if flat-rate text chat matters more to you than media.

Candy's help centre also says characters in its Realistic chat mode may send photos, voice notes and videos unprompted, and this can be switched off in the chat window.

Access: web and installable web app. Replies follow the user's language; the interface is English. Sign in with an email one-time code, Google or Discord, through an 18+ age gate with a date-of-birth check.
