xHamster Review (2026): Free Tube With a Social Side

Quick verdict: In short, this xHamster review finds a free tube with a social layer, running since 2007: one-click HD, 4K and VR filters above the grid, plus creators, dating and messaging. Its FAQ says there are Android and iOS apps and that videos cannot be downloaded, and the homepage warns some clicks open an ad.

xHamster is a free video platform that has been running since 2007. It began as a mix of tube site and adult social network, and that DNA is still visible: alongside the video grid you get creators, photos, a dating section and user profiles. The homepage (checked October 2026) opens on “Trending Free Porn Videos”, with All, HD, 4K and VR filters at the top and a left sidebar for newest, best and short videos.

A regional language and country selector sits in the header, and the category list adapts to your location. Straight, gay and trans versions are switchable from the gender icon.

Watching on xHamster is free and signing up is free (“Sign up for free” in the header, checked October 2026). Paid content sits under a “Premium Videos” menu item, which promotes full-length studio content and partner subscriptions. We saw a partner subscription discount banner on the homepage, but no single xHamster membership price, so we are not quoting one. Check the official checkout page for current terms before paying.

• HD, 4K and VR filters directly above the grid
• Short Videos feed, Newest and Best sorting
• Liked, Watch Later and Watch History lists
• Creators, Channels and Pornstars sections, plus photos
• Live Sex, Nude Chat and Dating in the main menu
• Upload button for creators and amateurs

The homepage notes that clicking some content will also open an ad, so expect occasional ad clicks on the free side.

What sets xHamster apart from most tubes is the community layer. Members can follow creators, comment, message other users and browse a dating section built into the site. Independent reviews have long noted that the dating side skews heavily male, so set expectations accordingly. Live Sex and Nude Chat are cam and chat products promoted from the same menu; they have their own pricing and should be treated as separate services.

xHamster's FAQ says there is an app for Android and iOS and that videos cannot be downloaded. You can block users from messaging or commenting. You can deactivate or delete your account from your profile settings, or file a privacy request to erase your stored data. In October 2026 its Premium Videos promotion pointed to FapHouse, a separate paid service.

If xHamster's social features are not what you want, compare the other big tubes. Our Pornhub review covers the best-known name, the SpankBang review looks at a tube with detailed length and quality filters, and the Beeg review covers a much simpler layout.

xHamster is a strong, well-organised free tube with better filters than most, especially the one-click 4K and VR switches. Its social features add something if you like community, but they also mean more upsells: premium videos, cams, chat and dating all compete for your attention. If what you really want is a one-to-one connection rather than a feed, consider a companion app such as AI Angels, which is built around private conversation.

xHamster is a long-running mainstream tube, and the risk is in the ad layer rather than the player. The site itself labels that some clicks open ads, so close stray tabs and never install a download a page prompts. On the dating and messaging side, treat strangers with normal caution: do not share personal details or move to off-site payment requests. Live Sex and Nude Chat have their own billing, so check prices before buying anything.
