XNXX Review (2026): The Old-School Free Tube, Explained

Quick verdict: In short, this XNXX review finds one of the oldest free tubes, with a copyright notice running back to 2000. Beyond videos it has Best Of and Hits archives, written stories and a forum, and its recent-activity menu is, per the site, saved locally in your browser. XNXX GOLD is the optional ad-free paid tier.

XNXX is a free adult video tube whose homepage describes itself as “100% Free Porn Movies and Sex Content”. Its copyright notice runs back to 2000, which makes it one of the longer-running names in the category, and its bright blue layout has barely changed in years.

Beyond the video grid, the main menu adds Best Of and Hits archives, a tag index, pictures, written sex stories, a community forum, pornstar pages and an upload option. A content switcher in the header changes between straight, gay and trans versions, and the interface is offered in several languages.

Watching on XNXX is free, and you can create an account from the header without paying (checked October 2026). The homepage also shows a “Remove ads – Upgrade to Premium” link that leads to XNXX GOLD, a paid tier on its own domain. According to the GOLD page (checked October 2026), it hides all ads and pop-ups, unlocks exclusive full-length videos and originals, adds HD downloads up to 4K and plays on mobile, desktop and TV. We could not see a public price without starting checkout, so we are not quoting one.

• Best Of archive of top videos by month, plus an all-time Hits section
• Large tag index with an A–Z list and a sidebar of popular tags
• Pictures, animated GIFs and written stories alongside video
• Community forum and user uploads
• A recent-activity menu that, per the site, is saved locally in your browser and can be cleared or disabled

The menu also promotes live cams, dating, an AI girlfriend section and games; these are separate products rather than part of the free library.

If XNXX's busy grid is not for you, compare a few other tubes. Our xHamster review covers a tube with 4K and VR filters, the Eporner review looks at a site known for HD videos, and the FapHouse review covers a paid studio alternative.

XNXX is about volume and habit. It loads fast, it is free, and the archives make it easy to find what other viewers liked most. The trade-offs are typical of a big free tube: ads and promoted links on the free side, and tagging that independent reviewers describe as inconsistent, with near-duplicate tags and short clips dominating the front page. If you want longer studio scenes without ads, compare GOLD with a single studio subscription. If what you really want is someone who answers back, AI Angels offers conversation with an AI companion instead of another playlist.

As with other large free tubes, the practical risks come from advertising rather than the player. Keep your browser updated, ignore any page that tells you to install a “player” or “codec”, and remember the cam, dating, AI girlfriend and games links are separate services with their own terms. The site says its recent-activity menu is stored only in your browser and can be cleared. Because anyone can upload, stick to official channels and report anything that looks wrong; GOLD removes ads and pop-ups if you prefer to pay.
