Stripchat Review (2026): Big Live Cam Site on Tokens

Quick verdict: In short, this Stripchat review finds the largest token cam site we checked: the header showed more than 11,000 rooms live in October 2026. Its user guide lists private, Exclusive Cam2Cam, per-minute Group and fixed-price Ticket shows, and token charges go through Paymentico, Epoch or SegPay.

Stripchat is a live webcam platform where independent adult performers and couples stream to an audience and earn through tips and paid shows. Free public rooms can be watched without registering. When we checked in October 2026, the header showed more than 11,000 rooms live, and the site says over 150,000 performers stream each month.

The homepage groups rooms into rows such as top free cams, couples and new models, with Girls, Couples, Guys and Trans tabs and a left sidebar of specials, age bands, regions and interests.

Watching public rooms is free. Tips, toy control, private shows, spying on private shows and Cam2Cam video calls are paid with tokens, and each performer sets her own prices. The sidebar includes a “Best for Privates” list and a “Recordable Privates” option, where the performer allows you to keep a recording. We did not see token package prices without an account, so we are not quoting what a token costs in dollars. The site also runs promotions such as free-token prize draws for new members.

• Free public rooms with live chat
• Private shows, with Cam2Cam video calls where the performer allows it
• Spy mode to watch someone else’s private show for tokens
• Recordable private shows on supported rooms
• Interactive toys that react to tips
• Dedicated VR cams section
• Official app link and an installable web app

The site has one of the deeper filter sets among cam platforms: region, age band, body type, language, interests and show type, plus a search with “Magic Search” suggestions. Independent reviews have noted that public rooms are often teasing previews, with more explicit performances saved for private shows, and that the private messaging is well integrated. If you are browsing on a budget, the free rooms and filters let you find a performer you like before spending anything.

Stripchat's own user guide lists more ways to pay than most rivals: private shows (others can spy), Exclusive Private Cam2Cam shows where nobody can spy, Group shows billed per minute but cheaper than a private, and Ticket shows paid as a fixed price up front. A free account starts as a Grey user; buying a first token pack makes you a Bronze user. Ultimate members can message any model for free. Token charges are handled by Paymentico, Epoch or SegPay, each with its own billing support line on the site.

If Stripchat is too big or too token-heavy, compare a few other cam sites. Our XloveCam review covers a prepaid-wallet site with a sneak peek option, the Amateur TV review looks at smaller amateur rooms, and the Flirtbate review covers a newer platform.

Stripchat has scale, variety and modern features, from VR rooms to Cam2Cam calls and recordable privates. The cost model is the catch: everything interactive runs on tokens with per-performer pricing, so the bill depends on your discipline. If you mainly want long, relaxed conversation rather than a live show, an AI companion on AI Angels is a flat-subscription alternative.

Stripchat is a large, established cam platform; the practical risk is spending, not the site. Buy a small token pack first, set a monthly cap and watch how a room works before going private, because per-minute shows add up fast. Never move payments or contact off the platform, and be wary of anyone asking you to. Treat performers with respect and use the report tools if something looks wrong.
